Abstract

The study aimed to identify the role of information technology in developing the performance of small rural projects in Alexandria Governorate. The study used the descriptive analytical approach and used the simple random sampling method. The number of members of the study sample was 179 individuals. The study concluded that there was an average level of application of information technology in small rural projects in Alexandria Governorate, as well as the presence of A high level of performance of small rural projects in Alexandria Governorate, and it was found that there was a statistically significant positive effect of the level of application of information technology on developing the performance of small rural projects in Alexandria Governorate. The study recommended the need to pay attention to providing the appropriate technological environment, pay attention to providing programs and training courses for workers in small rural projects, and encourage researchers.
